-Interview with United States Attorney General William Weld, 2004

"No, I didn't win my first election, but you can never let that kind of stuff get to you. Besides, it's not like I completely bombed, you know, Salt Lake City Olympics-style."

(Weld and his interviewer share a laugh, though the Attorney General would be criticized for his "off-the-cuff" remark.)

So yeah, this is a little spur-of-the-moment idea for a mini-project I had. I'm working on one or two other projects that are still in the can and should be more in-depth than this, so don't expect updates to be very frequent or extremely long, but I thought this was a fun little idea I had, so I decided to share it.

Thoughts? Anyone see where this is going?

Very neat! Silber actually ran to Weld's right during the campaign, so it'll be interesting to see what happens in Massachusetts.

I assume that's a Democratic administration in 2004 that's named Weld as Attorney General; it's hard to envision George W. Bush or any similar Republican doing so.
