The mandatory was Fidel...and now?

What if today come out irrefutables evidence that the man behind the assassination of JFK was Fidel Castro?
United States would ask extradition?
Or an international court could be established?

Drone strike, or special forces or cruise missiles or stealth bombers

Cuba would refuse to extradite, might as well skip the whole tedious process

Three simple words

Oswald Acted Alone.

Yes,of course.
But remember the travel of Oswald to the Cuban embassy in Mexico city.
LBJ said: "Kennedy was trying to get to Castro, but Castro got to him first."

Well, the the hypothesis of this thread is that today come out a irrefutable and definitive evidence that behind Oswald was Castro (or the direct responsability of Castro).
What happens?
Is obvious that a invasion of Cuba (or the bombing) is ASB,but what do the United States?
Nothing?
Or a attempt to take Castro in front a some type of court?
And the public opinion in USA?

I would tread very delicately around conspiracy-like discussion topics. People have been banned for less.

Which is why I usually try to keep my own (very well researched) opinion to myself.

I do wonder how the attitude on AH.com would be IF a conspiracy was finally revealed... Especially in the incredibly unlikely event that it turned out, as the OP posits, to have been in any way associated with Castro, which I do not believe.

All of this is here nor there to the OP, though. JFK's assassination is still something of a soft spot (clearly) to the United States and her people. Obama would try to get Castro over here to stand trial and would be supported by all Americans and the Kennedy clan in particular. Castro would never turn himself in, of course.

This would prove difficult but a good start would be putting Castro and his accomplices (Raul?) on the Most Wanted list. If public opinion were strong enough, I could see an invasion as well as a well timed Seal Team Six operation.

Obama becomes a two term president and the Cuban people get Democracy.

Unless something goes terribly wrong. In which case... I dunno.

Again I repeat, Drone, Cruise Missile or Stealth Bomber attacks

I think that is very improbable.
Many peoples in USA would be very angry, but not until the point to attack Cuba (either a restricted attack).
Remeber that the majority of United States citzen are born after the death of JFK..is far history for many.
By the way i think that the United States (and Obama) would attempt to make some of symbolic.

Why not, we are not just going to let a foreign country get away with assassinating one of our presidents and a lot of Americans still dislike Cuba. We have invaded countries for less and Cuba is less than 90 Miles away, its right in our own back yard. Also we know we will never see Castro extradited, and invasion would be too costly.
