The Little Stumble:

Hello, I have realized recantially that I have had no actual timeline that I have stuck with. I, therefore am starting one now. It is about the Teutonic Knights and the PoD is the Battle of Grunwald. ENjoy!

July 15, 1410:
THe Battle of Grunwald was fought. In the first charge, The Lithuanians charged. They were shortially thereafter forced to retread. Then, shortly thereafter the polish join in on the fight. The melee conflict had reached the King of Poland, King Jogaila and a knight by the name as Diepold of Kökeritz charged the king. A man named Zbigniew Olesnicki saw this and rushed to save the king, but he [POD]tripped and fell on a stray spear laying in the battlefield. This allowed Diepold to attack and kill the king of Poland.[/POD] The poles, realizing their leader has fallen demoralized and retreated as well. Victory belongs to the Teutons!!!

July 16, 1410: As there is no rightful heir to Poland, The Polish-Lithuanian army takes a retreat to Latunburg.

July 17, 1410: The Teutonic forces in Grunwald split, sending 6,000 men at Kauernick and 3,000 to accompany the men at Soldau.
-The Lithuanian General Vytautas the Great was named supreme commander of the Polish-Lithuanian Army. Also, due to the Union of Vilnius and Radom, rises to temporary king of Poland-Lithuania.
-Many of the Poles are abandoning the army of Poland-Lithuania
-Prince Ziemowit IV of Masovia is promoted to a captain by Ziemowit.

July 19, 1410: Seeing a possible pincher movement from the Teutons, Vytautas chooses to retreat back into Lithuania with his force of 10,000 men. The Teuton army persues.
