"The Lion" TL

1912- T.R. wins a narrow victory against Wilson , after Taft dies of heart attack in October , this causes many GOP voters to shift to the Bull Moose party as they realise Butler is helpless against Wilson.
1914-The US backs Britain and enters the war. Mexico and Hispaniola are invaded after the border war escalates and a German presence is seen in both countries.
1916- An Influenza spreads throughout the front rapidly. Note the rapid spread which came from much faster front after the stagnation of the Marne is broken early, and light tanks and mounted infantry pour into the Rhine-land. TR wins war-time election.
1917-France and Germany sue for peace as the Spanish flu rages along the front , while the US and British do not and they moderate the treaty of Brussels is signed and the German border is the same as OTL but the Saar-land , Danzig , and the Rhine are not occupied although hamburg and the north part of Germany are occupied by Britain, Germany also retains Togoland and an OTL borders Cameroon. the US gains Tsingtao(Qingdao), Sonora, Baja,Tabasco,Veracruz city ,Chihuahua,Quintana-roo,Yucatan as territories .Quentin Roosevelt lives preventing TR's depression.
1919-the US supports the Greeks and the Turks are rapidly defeated and they do not regain their lost territory like OTL.

I am new at this so I would enjoy constructive critics :) thanks more to come soon.

Welcome to the board.

How many years do you plan to run the TL?

How long do you plan for the TL to be?

Most TL have a lot more details. You have some key highlights, but it is hard to comment on the TL because of the level of details.

1) But why would France and Germany sue for peace? Germany makes sense, but France?

2) Japan is not going to give up Tsingtao. Or did Japan not enter the war?

3) If German keeps colonies, the partially unconquered East Africa is more likely.

Welcome to the board!

AIUI the isolationist sentiment was rather prevalent back in the 1910s. How did TR pull of a DoW against Germany (him being TR doesn't count :p)? Also, this probably means less British casualties on the frontlines. It may slow the decline of the Empire, and (possibly?) lead to an Imperial Federation. :)

I'll be following this. ;)

thanks for the input guys , I shall make revisions and post a more detailed timeline 1912-1935 ASAP. :)
It's a good start, you should flesh out your POD more. Also, unless if the Zimmermann telegram got sent in 1914, I have a hard time seeing the general public accepting a declaration of war. Also, based off of what I see so far, this is reminding me off the American nightmare by NoOneFamous (an excellent series if I might add) I'm interested in hearing what the specific POD is. Good Luck.:)
