Mary of Burgundy gives birth to a son she named as Charles , named after the other Kings of Bavaria, she has another son named Ferdinand, the two children are twins just born after the death of Charles the Bold at Nancy on December 1477, the birth of the Children would had made Mary of Burgundy very happy and they had many children for 15 years till Mary of Burgundy would stop having children.

On 1494, John the Good of Opole was able to meet Bianca Maria of Sforza, the girl betrothed to Maximilian I of the Holy Roman Empire was very attractive and he wanted heirs so he decided that Bianca Maria of Sforza would be his alone and not the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, so he married her cancelling her betrothal to Maximilian I, which gave him the anger of Maximilian I but it enabled the future unification of the Duchy of Opole, Bianca Maria Sforza gave birth to a daughter named Maria on June 4, 1495 named Bolko who inherited the united Duchy of Opole, she would marry Frederick of Palatinanate, the youngest son of Mary of Burgundy, this marriage was the origin of the Polish branch of the Wittelsbachs.
