Just watching "Need to Know"...
It says M. L. King, Jr's father switched his support from Nixon to Kennedy, & this was enough for the black vote in NJ, OH, & MI to give JFK the Electoral College majority, & the Presidency. It was, the show suggests, because JFK called about King's arrest on "highly questionable" charges of parole violation.
So, suppose King isn't arrested? Does Nixon still lose?
