This is a little preview of a new TL I've been writing and will post here soon. It's something of an experiment really, and very different from ASHATW, my last multipart AH effort. Why is it different? Well, I've written this to explore whether I can use a computer game (in this case Paradox's "Crusader Kings") to produce decent Alternative History. Every major event that happens in the TL happened in the game more or less, although some motivations are changed and some of the more unlikely aspects toned down. I think it produces quite an interesting result, although one that isn't wholly satisfactory to an AH purist like myself. The lack of a single PoD is quite a sticking point for example, as "WI everyone acts differently for no apparent reason beginning in 1066" isn't a wonderful start.
Still, it'll be very interesting to see what people think of the result. To whet your appetite, I've made a few maps of the TL;
