The "Juggernaut" (Ottoman-Russian Alliance)

Inspired by the United British-Japanese Empire thread, this is just something I came to think of. You may be confused at the thread title, but this is a term I adopted from playing Diplomacy - I'm refering to an Ottoman-Russian alliance in the game that overruns Europe. While the scenario of Diplomacy is for away from reality, it's an interesting scenario to ponder about.

So here's the challenge now, should you accept it, that is:
1) forge such an alliance between the Ottomans and Russia, at the latest possible POD.
2) make the Ottoman-Russian alliance victorious in a Great War/WWI equivalent.

Surely you gotta have a more successful Ottoman Empire and maybe a less successful Russia. I guess the latest PoD for this should make Suleyman's conquest project turned out better than OTL, maybe by rid away some unnecessary elements from it such as the conquest of Hungary (so instead they could vassalize Hungary instead, albeit it'd kinda difficult, but possible!) so that he could crush the Safavids (so the Ottomans could gain some [reasonable and probable to hold] chunk of [western Persia), and also you'd need better commanders (or even better, JUST a commander) for leading the Battle of Lepanto. NOW we got an Ottoman Empire that has more or less maintain its strength like it was under Suleyman after he dies. Though yessss I haven't said anything about Russia (due to my lack of knowledge about Russia to explain the Russian part...), THIS can be the start for it!

OR... maybe we're going to hear Pasha says that the PoD can be later ? I guess if so, I suppose he will choose it somewhere around year 1700.....
