The Iron Lady Cracks

13th October 1984, Brighton.

The applause continued to ring as Thatcher walked away from the conference hall. She walked down a corridor and entered an empty room.

Sitting down at a table she clasped her hands and thought about the events of the last few hours. She still had some dust in her hair and hadn't slept much since.

All she could see in her mind's eye was the fire, the destruction and bruised bloodied faces. All she could hear was the screaming, crashing and crying.

All she could feel was the despair and the anger.

All these thoughts went through her mind and anger built in her. Her country. Her Britain was being threatened by those who were selfish and totally opposite to what she stood for.

On the way back to London she sat in the Government's Jaguar and started to plan...
