The Iron Lady and the Republican together in death

So I was reading a list of List of unsuccessful assassinations, and saw in 1984: Gerry Adams, Margaret Thatcher, now we have a Gerry Adams assassination TL, Will Ritson's Northern Ireland "Tet" offensive - 1980s and we have a Margaret Thatcher assassination TL, Lord Roem's For the Sake of a Shower: The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher but what if both Assassinations happened in 1984? Gerry Adams shot in his car by loyalist UFF gunmen On 14 March 1984, the IRA blames the Army (much as they did in OTL) and an IRA bomb is set off at the Brighton hotel on 12 October 1984 during the Conservative Party conference, the bomb kills Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher

You know, when you said Republican, the connection in my mind wasn't to Gerry Adams but to Ronald Reagan... Maybe just cause I'm an American who heard about their lovey-dovey relationship. :p

I had the same thought. That too would be interesting.
