The Iron Crown and the Eagle

I've looked over what I've posted so far and realize that it's way to ASB. I've changed too many things way to radically, and that's not what I wanted to happen. I'm not going to give up on this idea, but I am going to start to rewrite it.

The premise I sought for the TL was a stronger, longer-lasting German Empire with a smarter leader, and I saw that in Prince Henry. I started off wrong with a PoD in Russia, with the idea of creating a more democratic-socialist Soviet Union, but apparently that wouldn't have worked. I'm going to do some more research, get a PoD in Germany that would put Henry in power logically, and keep the TL somewhat plausible.

For the few that actually read this and gave input as well, thanks.

The main problem is than you think than the Wilhelm Line was full of lunatics.. in fact his Son(Wilhelm III) never care about politics and he was enough happy than the politician make their work, and his sons are even more liberal than him, in general Wilhelm II was losing his power or he never really use it except his right of total Naval actions.. were the politicians than make the most of work.

In general the problem of germany is not her leadership if nor the rivalities in the continents aainst each other. especially Britain.

I'm using that in the rewrite, Germany and Britain's ties are closer due to George V and Heinrich I being cousins. A German-British-Austrian alliance would be a good counterweight to a Russo-French alliance in WWI, no?

My reasons for disposing of Wilhelm II are just that he fudged up so much for Germany, and his brother Heinrich was a much more diplomatic person, and kept strong ties with Britain during his life albeit being an Admiral of the High Seas Fleet OTL.
