The Indians clinch the ALCS in 2007 over the Red Sox

From what I've read, most analysts believe that the Indians would’ve won the World Series in 2007 had they clinched the ALCS over the Red Sox.

The AL was superior to the NL that year. Pretty much whoever won the AL would have won the WS. My Indians were up on the Red Sox 3-1 and choked. Had they beaten Boston like they should have, they would have curb stomped the Rockies just like the Red Sox did. Another in a long line of Cleveland sports heart breaks..

Dunno you still need to play 4 and maybe 7 games, and is cleveland but yeah anything could happen

As a life long Cleveland sports fan I am as cynical as anybody but 2007 is one year I have no doubt that had the Indians won he AL they would have taken down the Rockies. They had a very good team that year and the AL really was the superior league that season.

It's the Indian's. They blew a 3-1 lead on the Cubs the one team more snake-bitten then them in the year where the Cavs finally got the city a championship. They'd find a way to fuck it all up.

Uh wrong, in 2016 they had a starting rotation that had been decimated by injuries, the fact that they made it as far as they did is extraordinary and practically ASB.

I'd like to point out that both teams scored the same amount of runs all series, the cubs had only 6 more hits the whole series and the only blowout during the collapse was game 6 and all the others were 1 run games. They blew it and blew it badly so yes I call it the Indian's being the Indian's.
