The Great King Lives

Well, the POD is the battle of Issus, in South-Eastern Anatolia.
The battle of Issus was not a given: Alexander's army was outnumbered, largely, even if we discount the less effective Persian levies. The Persian army had succeeded in cutting the line of supply of the Greeks, and was occupying a very strategic position. At the cusp of the battle, the Greek mercenaries on the pay of the Great King succeeded in breaking the front, and Alexander himself had to lead a charge of the Companions cavalry. OTL, he triumphed, and went on to conquer the world. TTL, an unknown Greek mercenary kills him. Alexander's death turns the tide of the battle, and Parmenio cannot hold the army together. The retreat of the remnants of the Greek army toward the Bosphorus is another "march of the ten thousand" (and actually, less than that number arrives to the beaches of Trakia.
Unsurprisingly, all the greek cities rebel as soon as the news reach Athens.
What do you think is going to happen?
