The Empire Parnell Built

Wow; this seems like a nice timeline I just discovered!

I do wonder; how is the Indian and Burmese economies performing TTL?

I get the vibe based on the infoboxes viewed that the Indian Economy TTL is sort of like OTL "China-ish?" so left behind from Britain but stronger than OTL?
OTL China is a very good analogy for TTL India: an enormous economy because of its population size and of more and more wealthy but also with massive regional inequality. India and Britain in TTL's Empire are a bit like Germany-France in the OTL EU, if that's a useful analogy.

So the Boer war lasted until 1906?

What kind of army had the Britons send to South Africa? The Boy-Scouts?

They sent the most incompetent force to conduct a war they had, the British Army.
By the end it was basically Dominion and Indian troops. Safe to say the Imperial General Staff won't be itching for a large war any time soon...

Bonapartist were also very strong until the 1920s though they stopped taking part in French elections after 1890. Are they influencing the French monarchists in any manner?

Well that turned ugly.
You spend forty years saying you'd like any party other than the Moderate Republicans to win...

What was relationships and difference between Moderate Republicans and Democratic Republicans?
The Democrats are generally more what we'd call right wing, in the sense that they're opposed to the pro-labour and social insurance policies and adopt a much more aggressively nationalistic and anti-German foreign policy. In practice, they mostly acted as an adjunct of the Moderates in the Chamber of Deputies and really there's barely a cigarette paper between the Democrats and the right wing of the Moderates: the difference is mostly a matter of styling and enabled Poincare and his supporters to stand for the presidency in 1904 with 'clean hands' so to speak.

So Louis Napoleon died in 1879 and the Bonapartist movement entered the same sort of decline as in OTL. As a result what Bonapartists there are who are involved in politics will have been subsumed beneath other right-wing groupings, which has in turn been successfully subsumed beneath the Royalists. A big part of Royalism in France TTL is a 'great man' theory of politics, which obviously has a certain kind of hereditary relationship with Bonapartist (although of course that's hardly unrelated to OTL European conservatism at this time).
