The Electorate of Brandenburg was granted

In 1415, the Electorate of Brandenburg was granted by Emperor Sigismund to Frederick I of Hohenzollern, burgrave of Nuremberg.
Suppose Frederick I is not granted the Electorate of Brandenburg.
Who does Emperor Sigismund grant the electorate to?

He might just keep it, in which case it remains an appendage of the Bohemian crown, and eventually goes (butterflies permitting) to the Hapsburgs.

Could be interesting.

I don't quite see it as an appendage to Bohemia but as a grant to the Emperor's heir - sort of like the Principality of Wales is to England/Britain - to help ensure the heir is made King of the Romans.
Assuming it remains with the Bohemian inheritance however it does create an interesting eastern focus to the HRE.
