The development of Civilization in Northern Europe Timeline

The Emergence of Civilization in Northern Andrastia
The emergence of advanced civilization in Northern Andrastia[1]can beattributed to the agricultural advancements made during the Neolithic era. As the Indo-Andrastian people began to migrate north and west into the now what is Cennundaz and Swebozdanz, they began to adapt there crops to the colder climate , they noticed that certain grains grew better in marshlands so they set up agricultural production near major rivers and dug canals to incerase the land area that they could use for farmland. These grains were the,Fagopyrum esculentum[2] which is extremely high in protein and has been found throughout Andrastia including Suiondaz[3]. This foodstuff was formed into bread and sometimes the seeds were eaten by themselves , the most popualr was to combine the seeds with Rye bread which increased protein in the peoples diets. Rye or Secale cereale was one of the most popular grains mostly for its flavor. The Triticum aestivum commonly referred to sa Spelt is a type of wheat which has adapted to the Northern cliamte it is grown in less numbers but is still significant. In addition to grains the Northern peoples also grew many fruits and vegetables mass production of the Cranberrie and the Pear were the main fruits. The vegetables were of the Brassica family of Turnips rutebegas etc.

The domestication of boars and goats was another thing that led to the advancement of civilization however the Northern peoples also domesticated the Deer which was also used in some religious ceremonies to the God Cennunos, There are also wild Deer however a large portion have been domesticated and produce a great deal of meat for the people.

The Germanic Hegemonic Kingdoms

After advancements in agriculture of their Neolithic ancestors the Germanic tribal peoples were not so tribal and began to congregate in large agricultural villages and form confederations for support and military protection. Three large groups of confederacies each became a Hegemony ruled by a semi democratic King who ruled alongside a council of elders chosen from each confederation. lesser tribes were subject to the larger Hegemonic agricultural production and could not survive the winters without some form of assistance from the Hegemony and were indebted to them and eventually fell under there rule.

As more and more food was produced the population grew and had more time to focus on cultural and scientific arts , buildings soon began to resemble stone structures walls turned from rotting wooden fortifications to stone structures of might , A writing system developed from runes as more were added to the alphabet to spell more words and temples were built and crude statues begin to appear in the temples as metalworkers hasten to make their craft better. The Germanic Hegemonies are on their way to advancement.
