Even if the conspiracy succeeds, the Allies will not accept anything short of unconditional surrender. The Germans never grasped that. The conspirators goals of preserving the borders of Germany would not happen. Now exactly what happens when they discover this...hmmm. Battle of the Bulge won't happen, though I could see German forces allowing the Allies to enter Germany from the West to prevent the Soviets raping their nation. Either way, the war is likely over by 1945. Then again, the Germans may fight on regardless refusing to give up without negotiations, fearing occupation by Soviet forces.
 
Well weighing up their chances against the Soviets, I imagine they'd go for unconditional surrender, on the basis that British and American occupation would be better than Soviet occupation. It'd draw the Iron Curtain a lot further east as well, probably only encompassing Ukraine, Eastern Poland and a those little Baltic Sea states (based on their August 19 front-line).
