Adern is the Federal MP for Auckland (Basically central Auckland) and is a rising star in the party but she is likely won't become leader anytime soon. She is the Minister for Women.

Yep sorry the actual number was 35,067,812

damn, guessing there is no compulsory voting here. What would you say the population of the country is (50-60 mill?)

50,388,986 is my 2016 estimate but remember the voting age population is almost exactly 75% of that and voting is still compulsory which has consistently kept turnout above 90%

Same thing that happened to the other 9% in OTL 2016. Really couldn't be bothered voting or were disenfranchised.

That is true. Not like they really chase up people who don't vote anyway.

Could you give a description (or a wikibox, though a description would be easier) for the political parties of Aus please.

Texas 2015 House Election & President Julian Castro
The 2015 Texas House Election was held on the 31st of October 2015 to elect 338 members to the Texas House of Representatives. Prime Minister Joe Straus had won the 2011 election against the opposition in the Reform Party. It came also with the election of Steve Stockman as president giving National a good election term. The term started well for the Prime Minister passing Tax Reform and more or less staying away from social issues. The party clung to a pro-business and generally inoffensive platform. The push for social conservatism was mainly impressed by the Christian Democratic party standing in opposition to the moderate social policies of the government and pledging to re-criminalise abortion. In July 2013 the Reform party picked a New Leader after Wendy Davis stepped down from her leadership position. in September Reform MP Lloyd Dodget introduced a law to legalise same-sex marriage which had been shown to be supported by a majority of Texans in opinion polls. The Bill Passed 201-137 opposition mainly coming from the Christian Democrats and a few National MPs who claimed it should be left up to the states to decide. The President signed the bill into law on the 1st of October. President Stockman would unexpectedly resign in 2014 which was later found to be from the fear of being charged with money laundering in 2011 which he would be found guilty of in 2017. While Vie-President Kay Bailey Hutchinson would take this position Reform's numbers rose in the polls hinting at a good election season in 2015. the election was scheduled for the last Saturday in October this time being the 31st. The campaign started exactly 2 months before. There were two leadership debates between Alvarado and Straus which the media said that Prime Minister Straus won but Reform was riding high in the house of representatives polls along with the upcoming Presidential election between Susana Martinez and Julian Castro. The Socialist Workers party saw a collapse in its vote in Victora and Rio Grande due to Reform's success while the Progressives saw success in Texas cities. The Christian Democrats gained a handful of seats at the expense of National. Carol Alvardo and her government would be sworn in on the 17th of November 2015 by President Castro. While keeping taxes low and engaging in trade with North America the Reform government stays popular with a narrow majority in the senate streamlining bills. National seems to be picking off the Christan Democrats who have been losing ground in state and local elections since the election and whose leader is so wildly disliked that he often scores close to 0% in the preferred prime minister polls.
2015 House Infobox.png

Julian Castro is the incumbent President of Texas. For 4 years he was an MP in the house of representatives for reform until he announced his candidacy for president 3 weeks before the start of the official 2015 campaign. He won the nomination of the Reform Party and proceeded to face off in the First Round that occurred on the 10th of February that saw the National Nominee and him gain the top two positions to advance onto the second round as no one acquired a majority of the vote. Polls indicated a tight vote and on election night early results from the states of Burnet and Brazos showed that the race would come down to the wire. At 12 am Dallas time both candidates were within 2000 votes of each other although Castros win was predicted when results from Phoneix, New Mexico finally pushed Castro into a small lead. He was sworn in as president on the 16th of November 2015 by his predecessor Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

Nice texas election stuff
Wait, wait, I know it's hard to find borders for the texan constituencies you want, but you don't have to go straight to hail britannia and get them. XD I am being too picky.
In my defence, I have altered the Texan states a little after I blatantly stole a few from Hail Britannia but I drew the actual election constituncies mysef.

Can you please provide us with a summary of the different nations? I'd like to know more about my home country Australia.

Just a side note. I am always updating the World map I did a recent update where I have fixed mistakes and made the scenario more in-depth and realistic because let's be honest, just putting Borneo down as one independent country is a bit lazy.

There is a World map at the start and I have already done a Wikibox for the Australasian Federal Election at the bottom of the First page. But for now I'm gonna focus on the rest of the world. More to come from down under though.

1964 US Presidential Election
The 1964 US Presidential election was held on the 7th of November 1964 to elect a person to the office of President of the United States.

The Incumbent President, Stuart Symington, was elected in 1960 and was seeking reelection. His agenda of economic centrism had been successful with families earning more on average than under the previous president. A major infrastructure project was also part of the agenda with president Symington working to nationalise railways. It seemed that he was unbeatable in the 1964 election.

The 1964 Union presidential primary contenders were shaping up to be James Rhodes, Henry Cabot Lodge Jr and William Scranton until January 27th when New Hampshire Senator, Margaret Chase Smith, Threw her hat into the race. Her announcement was brushed off as a "non-serious" campaign and with only 2 Months until the first primary in her home state, she was expected to fail to gain traction. But there was shock when she placed a solid second in the New Hampshire primary with almost 25% of the vote earning delegates. It was revealed that her success had to do with her incredibly high support from women. Her campaign gained traction boosting her to a win in the Illinois Primary with over 45% of the vote. The Union establishment was in damage control mode with William Scranton and Her continuing to be the main contenders for the nomination. When the primaries ended in June, Scranton would come out on top with delegates but without a majority. In fact, his delegate count was only 39% of the total making him vulnerable. Litte known to the Scranton campaign the Smith campaign had worked out multiple deals with Lodge's and Rhodes's delegates pushing Mrs Chase Smith over Scranton. Yet She still couldn't harness a majority of delegates. The convention was gridlocked with no clear direction. Until a deal was struck which Allowed Mrs Margaret Chase Smith to be the nominee with William Scranton as Vice President. The First Woman nominated on a major party ticket.

Margaret Chase Smith moved on to face President Symington in the general election. From the start, the early opinion polls showed that Mrs Chase Smith was unlikely to win with polls putting her at a 20% disadvantage against the president. President Symington surprisingly extended the offer of a debate to Mrs Chase Smith Which she accepted. Although the debates were hyped up they were largely inconclusive with polls showing that President Symington had won the debate but with Mrs Chase Smith still gaining in the polls. President Symington was notably more focused on policy during the debates than his opponent. The issue of women in the workplace is where Margaret Chase Smith connected with female voters sending her higher in the polls.

Come Election Day Mrs Chase Smith was defeated in the popular vote by a 12% margin and in the electoral college by margins not seen until the 2012 election. On Election Night Mrs Chase Smith congratulated the president by saying. "Although I am sorry to disappoint you we must all give a large congratulations to the President tonight. As much as I accept that there will always be those that would make the contention, that no woman should ever aspire to the white house. I believe that one day that we will all gather in our capital to witness the swearing in of a Madam President. And that hopefully that day will come soon than we know." She would go on to be elected to the office of Vice-President in 1972 and be a major campaigner for roles for women in careers. President Stuart Symington acknowledged Margret Chase Smith's historic campaign later in an interview saying "I Understand the incredible work that Mrs Chase Smith has done for women in society and she should be respected for that. She made a bold move to run against me and if I'm being honest she outperformed my expectations."

The President of California
This might be a fairly obvious indicator of my next project but here you go.

The President of California is the head of State and Government of California. The Current president is Kevin De Leon who assumed office after his Socialist party won the 2016 general election seeing the defeat of the incumbent Republican party and the Maldonado government.

The office was established on the declaration of the California Republic in 1836 as the leader of the Californian Assembly. Inaugurations of new presidents have been set for the last Friday in July.
