The Chinese United Front Endures - China becomes a 2-Party State

Following the Invasion of Manchuria, the pro-reconciliation members of the CCP were finally outmaneuvered by the hardliners OTL, and following the breakdown of negotiations in Nanjing in 1946 due to diplomatic dishonesty from both sides, the KMT and CCP re-established the Chinese Civil War which directly led to the situation in East Asia of OTL

But what if the inverse was true and the pro-alliance members of the CCP remained in power and the negotiations in Nanjing succeeded? What if the Republic of China transitioned into a Two-Party State headed by the KMT and the CCP?

I think someone wrote something on this subject already.

Stalin will likely oppose Kim Il-sung's proposal to invade South Korea, because if it goes tits up it'll be all on the Soviets to bail North Korea out. Assuming he even proposes it here.
