The Brazilians manage to annex or puppet Uruguay after the Uruguayan War?

So the Colorado Party is either forced to submit as a pro-Brazilian party and accepts Brazilian demands as a puppet state or become annexed after the Uruguayan War?

What are the effects afterwards? Argentina becomes more paranoid since Uruguay is taken again since the Portuguese conquest of Cisplatina against the Spaniards and becomes a Second Cisplatina War?

Will Britain again intervene? Will other South American States start a coalition against Brazil?

Well pretty much after the 18656 Uruguay ended as a puppet State of Brasil.
And there was a support to the Uruguay independence that was the principal reason that Paraguay used to invade Brasil and star the Triple alliance War
Argentina was in a process of Civil war(s) and can´t intervene in any international war , the only reason that it participate in the triple alliance war was because Paraguay invaded, and even then reluctantly

Will Britain again intervene?
Maybe or maybe not. A stronger Brazil that can cut off Britan's access to the markets in the region is not in Britan's interest. If that can be avoided I do not see any sort of problem.
Will other South American States start a coalition against Brazil?
Not a chance. Arming an insurgency is possible though. Even likely.
What is Argentine reaction if Uruguay manages to become annexed by Brazil afterwards?
They would probably feel they should be "compensated" with land somewhere else. Perhaps Paraguay? Of course Brazil could say no to this and they probably would. What would really piss off Buenos Aires though would Brazil enacting tolls or tariffs on the River Plate. This could possibly trigger a war that would drag Britain in. Which was exactly why Uruguay was so useful as a buffer for Argentina and Brazil.

Maybe Argentina will move their capital to Córdoba or Rosario to be more secure, and probaby the mesopotamic misions would be more populated (exodus oriental). A war might happen or maybe not, it depends who is in goverment

Paraguay could use this to make peace with Argentina (or otherwise keep it occupied with another round of internal fighting) and fight Brazil solo.

the civil wars were prior to the war. Post war, Argentina was unified.

By wars end, Argentina mostly stuck with making a lot of money off the Brazilians, while Brazil did the lions share of the fighting. Brazil had built up a large military by war's end, and Argentina would have thought two or three times before going at it with Brazil (unless they could have gotten European backing to oppose Brazil).

But...Brazil was war weary at that time, and did not occupy Uruguay. without a causus belli, it would be an act of pure aggression to turn on an ally and annex it. that would be universally condemned.

If Brazil were in the mood for annexation, they would have taken Paraguay.

Buenos Aires and its location is the power base of Argentina. BA isn't going to allow the capital to move. Moving the capital doesn't make the country any more secure. IF Brazil takes Uruguay and then takes BA in a conflict, Brazil can strangle the hinterland. From BA, Rosario is no more secure, being on the Pampas and not having geography on it's side in a war. In such a scenario, Brazil-wank would obtain Uruguay, Entre Rios/Corrientes/Missiones, and then probably decides to take Paraguay while they're at it, which will be easy at that point.

No, not really, the so called civils wars period, was ended in 1880, full 15 years after The war, sure Argentina was mostly unified, but there was still revolutions and armed uprising, it's more during The triple alliance war there was another revolutions, The Jordanist revolutions in 1868, in the Corrientes Province, during The Triple Alliance war, Argentina can't do anything internationally Even if they want.

maybe buenos aires remains the capital but I don´t think Brazil will take the mesopotamic provinces, even less Paraguay. It´s most likely that they will turn the first ones into a buffer state (Entre Rios Republic), will this make Argentina a Unitary state even more centered in Buenos Aires?
