The Boleyn Prince and the Fitzroy Heir

In January 1536, Anne Boleyn miscarried a four month definetly male child. But what if Anne had carried to term? What if she gave birth to a healthy son? What would he be named, who would he marry? Who would his elder sister Elizabeth marry? And what if Henry Fitzroy and Mary Howard had consummated their marriage? Fitzroy dies, but Mary gives birth to a child? What would it's name be, and marriage prospects?

I know this is an odd thread, but I wanted it to be different from others.

If he turns out Protestant, as Edward VI did, then his choices are limited. Maybe some German or Scandinavian Prince. Alternatively, "stay in England" and marry his cousin, Lady Jane Grey.

Yes, the Boleyn Prince would be a Protestant. Now, in your opinion, do you think the Prince could perhaps make a treaty with a Catholic country and marry a daughter from there, or is it too risky? The Prince is still a staunch Protestant, but he wants to limit the amount of wars England could endure.

Depends on his personality. If he's a male version of his sister Elizabeth, then maybe. If he's another Edward VI, then forget it.

Why forget it? All of the 3 main contenders for Edward's queen were Catholic: 1) Mary, Queen of Scots; 2) Élisabeth de Valois and 3) Juana of Spain/one of several Austrian archduchess cousins. As close as Edward and Jane were OTL, he was duty bound enough to not consider wedding domestically (what would Jane bring him that three foreign princesses - one an anointed queen- couldn't? And he was convinced he could convert his wife, anyway).

Now as to Fitzroy's son, I could see HIM wedding Jane. It keeps her out of the hands of non-Tudors, plus ensures Fitzroy Jnr of a support base in the event Anne's son dies without issue. There's Elizabeth, but if she (and Mary) are married off abroad to some foreign king, the English might decide to avoid a PU with some power and go with Fitzroy Jnr (although his claim would ostensibly be through his wife, and shaky at best).

He has a different Mother than Edward VI. He will have a smart Mother that is secure in her Position and comes from a smart diplomatic Family.
