The Big descission; who will be the badie

In response to my original post of a German victory in ww1, who would be the villainous faction in my up coming secret title, the Soviet Union or Terrorist.

You're best of not creating a "baddie" or a "villain" at all. All nations are, at the end of the day, human communities, and are thus just as fallable as anyone else in the world - marking a people out as universally antagonistic leads to simplistic thinking and pulp fiction. Good AH is able to understand the motives and understandings from all sides.

Just what are you saying, my fiction is supposed to be a good and evil struggle between nations.

but in the real world it's not like that. take WWII for example, on one side you have the Germans who killed eleven million people, for (most of us) they are the bad guys. But on our team, the GOOD GUYS, the Soviets also killed tens of millions of their own citizens as well. And the US also detained thousands of Japanese citizens, which although not as bad is still not good.

Or the "War on Terror." the US is the good guys, killing the evil terrorists to protect the American Way. and yet we torture and detain people indefinitely, with no indication that they are guilty. in real life, it is never good vs. evil.

I hope your fiction is either a parody of the usual spy films or a satire on the current War on Terror. Otherwise I don't see the point of insisting in having either terrorists or a defined faction of bad guys, and having it in a CP victory world. Admitely, any action of the anti-terrorist Prussian commandos is going to be pure Kafka...

"Come on, boys!" - said Major Von Ketteler - "Our mission is to free this region of bloody terrorists... kill 20 civilians now in response to the last bombing".

If you ask me, I think your scenario would work better in a post-WW2 TL-191. There, the USA and Imperial Germany are superpowers and allies, Japan is the only power still strong to resist them (and depissed by both), and almost everybody is considered a terrorist by the German-American Alliance... Fascists, Confederates, several Nationalist groups, Communists, Mormons, Native Americans, Black Africans in the German colonies, Japanese and their allies/vassals in East Asia...
