The best books never written

Essentially, sort of a literary equivalent to The best movies/TV shows/video games never made threats.

Only this time, it's about books ranging from novels, comic books and graphic novels, and textbooks for schools.

Abu Fazl was going to write a complete account of Akbar’s personal understanding and practice of religion, and the relationship of Din I Ilahi to other systems. Needless to say this would have major consequences on Mughal historiography, and could easily have been prevented if Jahangirs attempts to assassinate him had failed.

Growing Up with Hitler and Afterwards by Helga Goebels Mackenzie

The Memoirs of Patrick Cleburne Lieutenant General, CSA, with a forwards by Fredrick Douglas and Nathan Bedford Forrest (about the only person I could picture having his Memoirs having forwards by both of these)

John Belushi, the first 70 years

I would love to have Phillip K. Dick's planned sequel to "The Man in the High Castle" that turned into Radio Free Albemuth.
