The Battle of Løkken

Lets imagine that the Allies during the final weeks of WW2 had choosen a second-front in Denmark and The Americans and Canadians in 1944 after D-Day in France had landed an Army in Denmark near Løkken in North Jutland? Which kind of resistance do you guys think they would have meet? If their plan was to push on towards Flensburg? Do you think the Americans and the Canadians would have bybassed danish city Aalborg and Århus?

Why would they do it in the first place?

During the final weeks(April 1945) there wasnt much resistance left in Denmark. Perhaps some few remaining Garrisons who will fight, but advanced tanks and allied air superiority will smear them out all over Denmark. Would have been a waste of men and resources as the big fight was near Berlin and South Germany. All they had to do was find a Nazi leader who was wlling to sign an unconditional surrender. They where not after more land to capture and more wehrmacht soldiers to kill.
