I have a question regarding the situation in Balkans, had Germany won WWII; feedback is not mandatory, but would be appreciated
So, lets say that this scenario is similar to the Anglo-American/Nazi War: Hitler browbeats Mussolini into abandoning his dreams of conquest in Africa, so as to focus on the impending war with the USSR. Invasions of Yugoslavia and Greece go as in IOTL, German victory at Stalingrad allows the Axis to claim victory, with Germany occupying all the Soviet Union west of the Ural River and Mountains. Hitler dies sometime in the early 50's, and is succeeded by Goering, whom either through slightly greater competence (but not that much), or through his appointing of the right guys for the job to run Germany (IDK, the fat man has trains to play with and can't be bothered?), and some how Germany manages to survive until the 60's or 70's, either before the Allies invade Europe and the 3rd Reich is consigned to the dustbin of history, or revolts and economic downturn rips the Reich apart.
Getting to the point, what happens in the Balkans? Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary are all German allies, Montenegro, Greece and Albania are Italian protectorates, and Croatia is sort of a dual puppet of both Italy and Germany (mostly Germany). What happens to Serbia? "Serbia" in this case (and during the war IOTL) was little more than a military command, with the Germans controlling the Banat. However, the Germans likely would've had to demobilize a lot of their personnel in Serbia, given that the war was (at least in their view) over. I know that the Germans had plans to occupy Belgrade, and rename it Prinz Eugenstadt, but what about the rest of the territory? Also, how would the Germans maintain control over the Banat? The Croatians had wanted more territory (I.e. Sandzak region), and they of course had their whole "Convert a 3rd, Kill a 3rd and Expel a 3rd of all Serbs"; Albania had wanted some Bosnian territories that it didn't get in the end, and I highly doubt that the Germans would allow a Slavic, Serbian state to survive in "Neue Europa". Would the Axis partition it?
Another point is the situation of Montenegro. It was basically an Italian protectorate, with the Italians occupying large parts of land on the Adriatic coast. However, I have read/heard that the Albanians and the Croatians were unhappy with the final settlement, as they had been hoping to split Montenegro in two. Would the Italians agree to this, or would it come to blows perhaps?
Finally, how would all these states, many having lost lands to others, and some coveting land that had been given to their enemies, interact. Could their be possible conflict with Albania and Greece over Epirus, and with the former and Bulgaria over Macedonia and Kosovo? Conflicts between Romania and Hungary over Northern Transylvania, and with the former and Bulgaria over Southern Dobruja? Italy and Croatia clashing over the issue of Dalmatia?
Interested to here some information, that could perhaps shed light on the situation.
