WI vast reserves of oil are found in the Australian outback in the early 20th century? Would that tip the balance of power away from the future creation of OPEC, and/or change the way that the West looks at oil? What would be the consequences for Australia, for example during the two world wars?
NB: I didn't want to get too precise in regards to the amount of oil found in Australia because I didn't want this to be written off as ASB. Let's just say that it's enough to rival some of the lesser OPEC countries?
