I saw a documentary last sunday about Germany in the 1920s. one section was about the murder on Walther Rathenau, the German minister of foreign affairs. for the ones who do't know him: he was an intelectual, writer and industrialist. There a quite a few historians who believ he was the only man capable of keeping Germany together and possibly stop the rise of Hitler. Unfortunatly he was killed in '22, by right extremists. Ironically, they didn't even killed him because of the fact he was a jew, nor did they like the small party called NSDAP or it's leader. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walther_Rathenau
I have a question and a challenge:
What would've happened had Rathenau not been assasinated. Could WWII have been avoided or changed by this?
