Depends on the nature of the victory and the subsequent events, of course, but I could see it being used as fuel to fire future revolutions, perhaps exaggerated, but as evidence of Mexican brutality and Texan bravery.
If the Mexicans expel/assimilate the anglophone elements of Texas then perhaps it becomes a footnote.
Like I say, it really depends on the way the victory was achieved and the subsequent actions of all parties.
