Terror attack on multiple shuttles (Launch Complex 39), mid-1980's?

Great responses, all, but there seems to be a misunderstanding:

This isn't really about an attack on a shuttle during launch...

This is about two or three shuttles being attacked (firebomb, mine?) while resting in the hangers near the launch site, during preparations, inspections, or repairs.

From what I've found the hangars are all very close to one another and a team of three or four terrorists could make their way inside from the refuge when security is especially lowered (I.e., not on a launch day).

Hope this helps!

i just found out this info
Next to large force of standard security at Kennedy there is,
The Kennedy Space Center Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team

Since 1979 NASA has small SWAT team on KSC
the 29-member team from Space Gateway Support (SGS),
protect Kennedy's employees, visitors and national assets like the Space Shuttle from any potential threat.
The SWAT team carefully prepares for special events like launch day and the arrival of astronauts and VIPs,
but it also stands ready every day for possible problems that may arise.
