Territorial losses of a Kingdom of Hanover within Germany?

Let's suppose that when Germany unifies, the Kingdom of Hanover is not annexed by Prussia fully, but admitted as a federal state of the new Empire. Such a thing isn't unheard of, Hesse lost a small amount of territory to Prussia, but was allowed to be its own member of both the North German Confederation and German Empire.

However, even if Hanover was to remain separate, they would certainly lose territory. Which regions of Hanover would be annexed to Prussia whilst retaining the kingdom?

Hanover was annex after it's loss in the Austro-Prussian war. Hanover wouldn't be spared from annexation as it is a symbol of UK influence in Prussia's expansionism if Hanover were to be on the Austrian side as OTL. However if Hanover were to be on the Prussian side during the war, you would see the Kingdom retain all it's territory whilst admitting itself into the North German Confederation.

It's pretty much all or nothing.

Perhaps stronger UK-Prussia relations might see the Kingdom being spared. Even if not, for the sake of argument, what could be lost?

Prussia at least wants to connect its western provinces with the eastern ones. So Hannover will at least lost terretories to make that happen.

It doesn't really need to loose all that much to do that:

Losing slivers of eastern and southern Hannover to Prussia will allow for that.

Oh i didn´t remember this map but if Prussia still annex Hesse-Nassau it will have the connection of the western and eastern parts.

Prussia annnexed Hanover, Hesse-Cassel and Nassau to make Prussia viable as a state outside any German league, a small sliver of land was never enough. A surviving would demand another less competent Bismarck.
