Tell me what to make

I’m in a lull at the moment creatively, so I thought of an idea. I’ll take peoples suggestions, select the best/most interesting, lets say between 5-10, and then make and post the maps. The theme I’d like to start with is cults and mystery religions. An obscure cult or god made big, the pilgrimage routes, Different holy places, etc, that is the kind of thing that I will be creating. All you have to do is suggest a cult or mystery religion, and I’ll do it, just something to keep my creativity going. Depending on how it goes I may ask for more suggestions!

Also, there is nothing stopping other people using the ideas in this thread.

The Jedi. You've already got stuff to go off of (not from the movies), such as the split over the legitimacy of Jedi Temples and the Jedi Council. Just make it bigger and a little more dramatic.

How about Deism? It does't exactly qualify as a cult, I suppose, but it'd be interesting to see it as a widely practiced religion.

Anyway, there's this Idea I was planning to use for a novel but I don't know how to fit. Not exactly a cult, more like an alternative cultural trend: There has never been Rome, and when the Goths arrived south of the Danube, they found a disparate and easily conquered collections of hellenistic kingdoms. That means no classicity, different art form (gothism?) different cultural trends and yes, a different religion, based on the cult of the germanic fertility goddess Eostre (which is equated to Ishtar). The capital of this Gothic empire is Eostreborg, later called Ishtarbul. An important province culturally, would be Arcadia (imagine Siegfried there). A form of orientalized hellenism however survived in Egipt, where Cleopatra reigned about fourty years.

I'd suggest spelunking into the weird collective crypto-fascist cells that have sprung up like toadstools everywhere in world since 1945. Turns out not having to run Nazi Germany anymore can really broaden your mind to some new freaky-as-hell horizons.

How's about the Cult of Reason established by Revolutionary France? Always was interested in that one, or for more lulz there's the wackier Cult of the Supreme Being made by Robespierre.
