Tecumseh's Confederacy and the State of Muskogee survive

You'd need more than one state in North America and have those multiple states be in a rivalry of some kind. IOTL the most effective way for Natives to survive as a polity was by playing the Europeans against each other. Once the Americans rebel it'll be too late to save any of the existing tribal polities. I would argue that by the time of the Seven Years War it'll be too late. You need at least two strong rival powers in the region that the natives can play off each other. I'd say keeping britian and france on the continent and beefing up france so that their OTL defeat in the Seven Years War either doesn't happen or happens in such a way that they retain Quebec would be a good start.

Quebec would be loyal to the Native Americans and would probably be entangled in their status.

If Brock is not killed at Queenston Heights, and Tecumseh survives the Thames, it may be possible. Now if Junaluska receives a prophecy from Tecumseh's brother, he could do a Dolchstoss at Horseshoe Bend. Was this before the Treaty of Ghent?

Post 7 years war, a Disunited States timeline could achieve this, with Native states in isolated borderlands between former colonies that have become hostile to each-other. An Appalachian Cherokee republic between Georgia and the *Carolinas could be a possibility.

Honestly, I think the best achievable outcome is a 'princely state' British protectorate, that eventually gets swamped with British settlers and becomes a funky province of Canada with different traditions. The natives simply didn't have the population to hold off white invasion, and land hungry settlers ARE going to encroach on their land. Sure, if the Brits win 1812 decisively (see my TL, among others) you can have a surviving Protectorate in the Old Northwest - but Britain is going to have to have a reason to keep defending them against the US, which is a good trading partner. White (British) settlement would be the obvious reason.

I just figured that Muskogee could be America's 19th Century Vietnam, what with Florida being full of swamps and an excellent place for the native tribes and escaped slaves to hide in. It would be pretty interesting if William Augustus Bowles got other Loyalists to support the locals, as well.

Agree. Has to be a buffer protectorate of some sort between rival North American powers. Tecumseh commanded 5,000 warriors at the height of his power, which would mean an accompanying total population of about 30,000. That's not nearly enough to keep afloat as in independent state, but might work as a protectorate.
