During the 1991-92 Georgian-South Carolinian War, Georgian troops slugged it out with South Carolinian troops in the Battle of Clearwater, SC, one of the bloodiest battles in the war. The South Carolinian base Camp Clearwater was also captured, shutting down the Carolinian logistics train that ran from Charleston to the front.
My question is, could the South Carolinian troops have beaten back the Georgians? The battle could have easily gone either way, as was shown by the casualty rate for each side. I am from Georgia, mind you, but it is interesting to think about it, still.

Okay, the PoD is the US never uniting, thus creating a balkanized America. That's why I put it in pre-1900, because of the PoD. Georgia consists of all of OTL Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida, while South Carolina is, well, South Carolina.
