Tancredo Neves Doesn't Die

Tancredo Neves was elected president of Brazil in 1985 the first free election after the end of the military dictatorship. However, he died before taking office and his vice president Jose Sarney, a stalwart of the military regime, succeeded him. If Neves hadn't died and served his presidency, how would Brazil fare?
 
Well, I don't think we would've gotten Aécio Neves....

But, IMO? Not that different. You would still have the same people in a lot of places. I do believe the same people(or ones who think like them) would be running the economy, with very similar results. And since the 80's in Brazil were shaped by economical crisis, you get the same general results.
