Taiwan keeps Fujian and Guangdong province

What if the taiwanese government, the republic of china manage to keep the Fujian and the guangdong province from falling under the PRC control?

How does the ROC secure the two province is up to you guys.

How will it affect the taiwanese movement for indepedence, and the PRC from being able to secure their claim for a one china policy?

It would really depend on how.

I can't see them militarically hold on to those two provinces when the rest of China proper have already fallen.

If it's some sort of negotiation then it would depend on when and how. If the rest of China have fallen then in the long run it would be incredibly difficult for the ROC to keep those two provinces in the long run.

But china have gone through centuries with one side in control of the north and another the south. Chances are the PRC will simply see the civil war as unfinished business, even more so than OTL.
