Taiping Heavenly Kingdom

Was in the ASB section looking up stuff on an ISOT when this non-ASB idea struck me.

What happens if Hong Xiuquan, "The Brother of Jesus, and his Christian revolutionaries defeat the Qing and take over China in the mid-19th century?

There was once a TL where Hong Xiuquan passed the examinations and become a military officer, but unfortunately, it was discontinued for a long time.

Was it called 'My Brother's Keeper' or something along those lines?
It was called "The Graduate". https://www.alternatehistory.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=275158
The best thing about the TL "Dakai Dynasty" was that it had the Heavenly King killed in a skirmish. Because of many personal flaws of the King's character, he could do a far greater service to his Kingdom by being dead, and serve as an ideological icon other than a real ruler.
But I thought the OP wanted a living Hong Xiuquan?

Thanks for the plugs guys~ ^^

And yeah, I don't think you're going to get a successful overthrow of the Qing without some more competent than the King. Shi Dakai was an (absurdly) talented general and administrator, popularly beloved and all that, so he's the best for accomplishing this in my opinion. Who knows though, I think other timelines have done it without killing Hong Xiuquan, so it's definitely doable!
