Swedish Dynasty from Charles XII?

So we know that Charles XII did not get married throughout his life and had no heirs.

Is there any way you see him agreeing to a marriage alliance at some point?

Who are some of the best possible candidates, and what do they offer to him personally and politically?

What might the result of him having a child as an heir be to European politics? And would Charles maybe decide to be a bit smarter about dealing with Russia and less likely to jump into conflict?

Have Charles marry Maria Amalia before her fathers death in 1711. Then when he dies seize the Holy Roman Empire from Charles VI.

And the Habsburgs would marry her to the VERY Lutheran Charles XII why? They didn't even allow the Saxon Electors marry into the family until after (Frederick) Augustus III had converted. If Charles XII married, it would be probably be a Protestant princess that would give an alliance/money or something else.

Yeah, that's not going to happen, I'm afraid. The Swedes were staunchly Lutheran and everything else (even other Protestant denominations, like Calvinism) was regarded with suspicion. Hence why we preferred Danish and northern German consorts for our monarchs.

In the Wikipedia page about Ulrika Eleonora there is this information: " In 1698, a marriage alliance was suggested by marrying her to Prince Charles of Denmark and her brother to Princess Sophia Hedwig of Denmark, but in 1700 this plan was discarded."
So, maybe it could have happened?

Alright how about in 1713, with the Pragmatic Sanction, when Maria Amalia is passed over for rule, Charles offers to help her regain power. Kind of like an Attila the Hun/Honoria thing:p

There is not going to be any Habsburg/Charles XII match unless he becomes a Catholic (in which he will probably lose Sweden). It will just not happen. Now if you want to suggest he will give up Sweden with a chance to take Austria and HRE and does a Henri IV a France (Vienna is worth a mass) then maybe - but otherwise it just doesn't happen.

There are several other princesses who were also under discussion/consideration at various points:

1) Louisa Maria Therese Stuart, Princess Royal of England, only surviving daughter of James II and Mary Beatrice of Modena. The match was pursued enthusiastically from the Jacobite side, but Carl rebuffed it with his usual answer of 'not yet'.

2) Charlotte Sophie of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, second daughter of Ludwig Rudolf of Brunswick. Yes, she was OTL tsarevna as wife of Alexei Petrovich, but her father basically did a coin toss to see who he should ally with, Sweden or Russia. So for those of you who want a Habsburg match without the Habsburgs this could be the way to go, since her older sister was Empress.

3) Maria Casimiria Sobieska, eldest daughter of Jakub Ludwik Sobieski. She was offered by her father at some point in the early 1700s for Queen for Sweden, however, the lady was unwilling and entered a convent instead. She would've brought an impressive dowry with her for a for-all-intents-and-purposes commoner, but it would open up the probability of another Polish-Swedish union due to her having no brothers.

4) Maria Elisabeth of Holstein-Gottorp, youngest sister of Carl's OTL brother-in-law. The marriage was pushed by his grandmother at some point in the late '90s, but never came to fruition.

5) Sophie Hedevig of Denmark, daughter of the Danish king, pushed by Carl XI (AFAIK) out of memory for his wife. However, the match foundered on certain points in the marriage contract. There was a brief attempt to reconsider it during the Traventhal Treaty, but no dice. Other matches considered for this princess included her cousin, the Elector of Saxony and the Holy Roman Emperor Josef I.

Other possible wives worth mentioning:
1) Sophie Dorothea of Hannover
2) Luise Dorothea of Prussia
3) One of the prince of Nassau-Dietz' sisters (if a match with Holland is sought)
4) One of the princesses of Anhalt-Dessau (same reason as 3)

Excuse my necrophilia if that's what it is, but I thought that a cool match might be with Luise Dorothea of Prussia. Ulrika Eleonora was considered as a match for Friedrich Wilhelm I (following the tradition of Brandenburger-Swedish matches started with Queen Christina's parents), so Carl XII can rather marry Luise Dorothea (since he'd be a much better match than a guy who's her cousin several times over) and Friedrich of Hesse-Kassel can marry elsewhere (maybe even an earlier match with Ulrika).
