So what if ?Sweden had regained Finland in 1815, [Congress of Vienna] instead of getting Norway?.
?Would Whe still have a Split in the early 1900's AKA Norway in 1905?

ASB; Russia was in a too good position to loose anything.

That is a tough question. If Sweden regains Finland that early, it is possible that the nationalistic Finnish idea does not develop at all, or is severely cut-down. It was either Swedish identity, Russian identity or Finnish identity during the 19th century, and many Swedish speaking Finns went for a Finnish identity to join in a resistance against Russofication attempted by the Russians.

I could see Finland going the same way as Wales and Scotland - sure, there's some nationalist tendencies, but the language is more a quaint thing than something really spoken, and all serious nationalism is aimed at more autonomy - and the Swedish muncipalities have always had a LOT of autonomy vis-a-vis the central government.

You forgot one small detail: it were Russians who won the war and were re-drawing European map and they really weren't that excited about hostile border 30 miles from their capital. Isn't it a bit naive to expect them to cede their just-conquered province to a country which attacked them twice in 30 years before that (as amazing as it sound, both 1790 war and 1809 war were initiated by Sweden)?

First, Finnish nationalism was on sounder linguistic ground when it came to differentiating the Volk from either Swedes or Russians, so a Welsh variant seems out of the question. Whoever held Finland as a possession in the 19th century had a people bent on independence on their hands by the 20th.

Second, will people please (please, please) stop writing "loose" when they mean "lose"? You can loose the dogs of war, but if you lose your dog, you should start posting "lost dog" flyers. If you insist on using "loose" incorrectly, maybe attach an MP3 of fingernails on a chalkboard to make the effect complete.
