Sweden Peaces out with the Russians after Narva

After the battle of Narva (1700) the Swedish army smashed the Russian army the Russians lost thousands of men lost nearly a hundred officers and 10 generals what if Charles the XII than peaces out with Russia keeping its Baltic properties and than focusing on the Polish-Lithuanians

The only way Peter and Russia are bowing out is if Peter gets the Baltic port he wants, St. Petersburg. Giving such a port to Russia allows it to gain majorly in trade and increased access to western Europe. Also as such a port would be so vital, Russia would almost by necessity in the future fight for a proper buffer zone for it. This thought was the basis for the Russia-Swedish Wars after the Great Northern War, St. Petersburg was too important to allow a Swedish army to potentially be sitting a week's march from it. So for Sweden, ceding such would be giving Russia a great strategic asset and put Sweden's remaining dominions right in Russia's crosshairs.

Now while we know with hindsight that it would be better for Sweden to make peace with Russia, perhaps in hopes that staying a relevant power, subsequently putting a pro-Swedish monarch in charge in the PLC, keeping Denmark-Norway from breaking the Treaty of Travendal, and potentially gaining allies in Western Europe once the War of Spanish Succession is over would help Sweden in resisting the Russian onslaught in the future, that is pure hindsight. At the time, Russia was a backward country on the edge or European relevance. Charles XII didn't realize that he'd in essence need to build a anti-Russia coalition to win long term.

So Peter will not stop until he gets the port he wants, and Charles XII is the kind of headstrong monarch with the time's thinking that wouldn't exactly give Peter what he requires to make peace. Not even sure what sort of weird political thinking would need to go on for peace to be made between Sweden and Russia after Narva. It would require something big changing in Peter or Charles.
