Successful Fairy Delta 2

WI the Fairy delta 2 was developed in the late fifties into a successful fighter interceptor and secondary ground attack plane , what modifications would be needed for it to the original prototype

How will fare in competition with american designs esp f104 and f101 for canada and other NATO countries

if it preceeded mirage III can it completely make it redundant by capturing the supersonic delta market in developing world ?

How will this affect british aircraft industry , Javelin probably would be redundant too
