Status of Libya, Eritrea and Somaliland with Italian Tunisia

Hey Guys,

When discussing an 'Italian Tunisia' on this site some people often say that, with their colonial appetites appeased by annexing Tunisia the Italians wouldn't feel the need to attack the Ottoman Empire for Libya, nor would they take the colonies of Eritrea and Somaliland in East Africa.

My question is do you think they would indeed leave these areas alone, or might we see Italy still go for them. Obviously the East African ones were taken peacefully and so may still be snatched up by Italy, but what of Libya?

Would Italy still go to war with the Ottomans? I doubt it personally and so what would happen to Libya? Would it stay Turkish?

EDIT: For the sake of the argument let's just say that the British ambassador in the Berlin Conference supports an Italian Tunisia over a French Tunisia, a mild crisis sparks up but it ends peacefully with the French withdrawing and grumbling.

Well Lybia can still be an objective but this time for simple strategic reason and not prestige or fear to be left out of the 'scrable for Africa' so there is a lot less pressure on take that.
Probably instead of war there will be a similar accord like Bosnia (nomimal Ottoman sovereignity and italian effective administration) as there is not the great need to show our muscle.
For East Africa, things will probably continue as almost OTL for Eritrea and Somalia just a little slower as most of the resource will go to develop the Tunisa colony (with his already big italian community); Ethiopia is more tricky from one side there is less urgency to conquer it as now Italy as something to show (but she will be still be targened for economic and political penetration) on the other side the first Abyssian war was greatly influenced by internal politics as Crispi the prime minister of the time was involved in one of the greatest financial scandal of Italy so he needed a short victorious war to distract the people (sound familiar isn't?), so he ordered an hastily prepared invasion at Abyssia.

Why should Italy be appeased by one colony if there are more to get? All larger European countries were colonial expansionists, I don't see why Italy would be the exception.

Furthermore, if they own Tunisia, Libya is a logical extension - as are the Dodekanes. And showing the muscles is also reasonable given the time. So there might not be a war if Italy gets effective control over Libya by peaceful ways. On the other side there will be opportunities to go for war.
