During the time of the English Civil Wars, the Commonwealth and the Protectorate there were numerous times in which the Stuart Royal House could've died out. What would've happened if by the time Richard Cromwell had practically lost control of the military and thus any source of power the Royal House of the Stuarts had practically died out? Let's say the only surviving Stuarts by 1660 were Henrietta Anne of England, Elizabeth of Bohemia and her children (who are technically of another Royal household).

Thus the options are only the old Princess with her German issue (one of which fought against the Parliamentarians in the Civil War). And on the other side is the 16 year old wife of Philippe I, Duke of Orléans.

Who would the Parliamentarians choose as the successor monarch? Or if they didn't pick from these people could the Levellers gain a foothold at all? Would a separate Lord Protector be installed? What would happen?
