Stars & Stripes movies

I think it would can cause people hate being confuse on what is the genrea of a movie (they won't be able to know if this War movie or comedy)

It would be worth it to see the ironclad combat on film. I'd suffer through seeing Monitor sail across the Atlantic to have it duel with a British ironclad at the end.

With Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise and Paris Hilton as Queen Victoria. Of course, we have to figure out how to have the American Navy become pirates.

Not gonna happen, that's an ending production shot and I see this film as running out out money about halfway thru, when they decide to do the crucial fleet turnabout in the ocean by actually buying several large yachts and photographing them in a turning manuever off the Bahamas for several days.

Damn you! Let me have my fantasies. Ah, maritime war in the age of ironclads - before submarines and aircraft messed the whole thing up.
