If ST S4 got the green light what would the episode listing be?

I have posted a template below, but please feel free to imagine how the Enterprise would boldly go into season 4 ala new actors, new stories, new Sfx and new themes.

S4E1 "She who must be obeyed".

The Enterprise is on routine patrol, when Ohura picks up a weak subspace signal. Spock triangulates and declares such a signal must be impossible since it comes from a colony set up and believed lost 300 years ago.

The Enterprise goes into orbit and Kirk, Spock and McCoy beam down with Ohura whose relatives were part of the original colonists.

Chariots driven only by beautiful young women arrive. Kirk draws his phaser but the lead female disables it with her whip.

They are bound and led to the city, except Ohura, who rides with the girls.

The men are tried on abducting a female with the lead, Jakinda [Jane Fonda], judging. As they are being marched to the labour camps, she is impressed by Kirk and Spock and they may be "breeding material".

Caged, it is now made obvious they must fight to the death for the right to breed with the females who rule the planet.

On couches, Ohuru, now dressed in the same outfit as Jakinda and the other girls await the fighters, while being served by docile men.

Kirk watches the first fight which the girls enjoy highly. He offers a truce to his opponent, but "this is not the way".

Jacinda takes victorious Kirk to her boudiour. Kirk refuses and states that men and women are supposed to be equal partners.

Ohuru points out to Bones that there is something peculiar about the fruit he is serving her. McCoy realises it is upsetting the natural hormones and vows to find an antidode.

After irking Jakinda he now has to fight his friend Spock, who at first is stronger, but dies with a spear to the chest.

Jakinda now taunts Kirk with her lovely body. Kirk takes control. They are finished and now you see love in her eyes.

She explains she has never felt like this before. Bones and Uhura arrive and he explains he has put the antidote in the water supply.

Jakinda agrees to revoke male discrimination and return the colony to normal, as Spock turns up.

"It's good you remembered a Vulcan's heart is on the right hand side, Captain."

"Oh, I didnt know Mr Spock: everybody gets lucky sometime."

But based on the structure of your episode, Uhura has to die, she is the fourth member of the landing party and she wears a red uniform.

LOL!

I Knew that episode was missing something. Should probably edit in some red goons who get wasted 2 mins after beam down...

Either that or they create a new running gag where Uhura and Scotty get worse and worse injuries on away missions but still survive. They could have done that with Pike in the new movies.
Ends the first movie with his arm in a sling, ends the second movie on crutches, ends the third one in a wheel chair.

The matriarchal society reminds me, somewhat, of Roddenberry's Planet Earth pilot. However, Jane Fonda has replaced Diana Muldaur.

BTW, that's an observation, not a criticism.

I read in Leonard Nimoy's biography that he had decided to leave the show at the end of season 3 even if Star Trek wasn't cancelled.

IOTL he went into Mission: Impossible, replacing Martin Landau.

Therefore it might be a nice touch if Landau joins the cast of Start Trek as Nimoy's replacement ITTL.

Or they replace Spock with a female character. Perhaps played by Diana Muldaur.

I’d like to explore the theme, a large population is good.

Say, with an average family size of 3.4, a planet has colonized most of its solar system. Maybe a doctor (or engineer, or teacher) explains to Kirk, As long as the quality of life is good, more people with worthwhile lives is a good thing, right?

So, this people now have several hundred billion persons throughout their colonies. That is, two orders of magnitude more than current humans.

Now, this is just the settting. We still need the story! :D

Does this butterfly away the Animated Series?

If it does I hope we see the return of the Harry Mudd, Cyrano Jones (and the Tribbles), and Spock's parents in Season 4. Along with the first appearances of the holodeck, Mr & Mrs Robert April and the, "Teddy bears with six inch fangs!"

If there's no Animated Series I'd also like to see Ed Bishop (who did a voices for the Animated Series) ITTL appear in Season 4. However, I think he was still working in the UK. I wouldn't want it to butterfly away his portrayal of Rollo (not Holly) Martins in the Radio Four version of The Third Man. (Harry Lime was played by Ian Hendry.)
