This is my first timeline, im going with 2000s WWF/E and plan to continue writing well into the 2010s, the point of divergence in the Royal Rumble 2001, WCW will still fold however the WWF does not buy out all of the contracts allowing some of the lower-end talent to go to the indies.
Royal Rumble 2001 Results:

January 22nd 2001:
The Royal Rumble PPV was a great success for the WWF, seeing the return of Hulk Hogan after being released by WCW last year, He shockingly helped Triple H defeat Kurt Angle to win the WWF Championship cementing himself as a heel to start his new run in the WWF, we also saw The Rock win the Royal Rumble who will challenge new WWF Champion Triple H at WrestleMania X-Seven assuming Triple H is still the champion by then.
