During Stalin's funeral as his inner circle is making their speeches, Stalin suddenly wakes up, in full view of everyone. So after being driven to the nearest hospital after which a doctors assessment states that his health problems are all gone and he seems to be in full control of his mental faculties. Afterwards, Stalin decides that a purge is in order and as such, launches one where
1: The entirety of Stalin's Inner circle except for Nikita Khrushchev is ordered arrested and shot by firing squad.
2: The MGB is dissolved and replaced by a new organization, the KGB.
3: Khrushchev becomes essentially his right hand man
4: He decides to return Zhukov to favour and appoints him Minister of Defence
5: For the newly established KGB, Alexander Shelepin is to be appointed the chairman and Yuri Andropov as the first deputy chairman.
6: Leonid Brezhnev becomes deputy defence minister.
7: Alexei Kosygin becomes the first deputy premier.
8: He decides to form a new inner circle consisting of Khrushchev, Zhukov, Brezhnev, Shelepin, Andropov, and Kosygin.

IBy 1936 a lot of people suspected Stalin had gone crazy. But no one wanted to discuss the NKVD.

Whole scenario is very implausible. Stalin had plans to launch new waves of purges but he hardly is goes after Malenkov and Suslov. They are vital for him. If he calls even purging of them inner circle is going to ensure that he will die and now permanentally.
