Stalingrad Falls

Uranus isn't assured if Stalingrad falls... part of the reason it was so successful was that the two strongest German formations for 300 miles (the 6th army and the 4th panzer army) where tied down on only 50 miles of front... if the city is conquered, then they can adopt more regular levels of divisional spacing and corset stiffen the satellite divisions

It might work if the Soviets call off Mars, is this possible? Although it probably wouldn't be as successful.

What do the Germans do after Stalingrad falls and uranus is stopped? Head more into Caucuses? Cross the Volga? Capture Leningrad? Or Attempt another assault on Moscow? Or stay where they are?
Hitler wanted the Caucuses so I can see them spreading out across the area more.
Leningrad could probably be taken and would help free up forces for other sectors but not likely as Hitler once stated that capturing Leningrad would mean having to feed millions of people starve them into surrender (not that he would have fed them anyway with his track record.
Crossing the Volga in any significant force makes no sense in the immediate situation.
And Moscow the Germans are not strong enough to capture. Especially after Stalins counter offensive and build up in that sector. He was expecting the German offensive 'blue' to come after Moscow.
