Stalin Line is not abandoned

OTL, the Stalin Line was abandoned to work on the Molotov Line, which was incomplete when the Germans invaded. Some of the generals wanted to keep the Stalin Line as well, though, to provide defense in depth, but their concerns went unheeded.

But what if they'd been listened to? What if the Stalin Line remained operational at the time the Germans invaded?

They would have broken through the line, IMHO, but they would have had to pay for it with time and severe losses. IIRC Germans never actually broke through any seriously fortified line before 1941. Even in Poland they ended with bloody nose at Mława. And they couldn't pull the Eben-Emael, since the paratroopers would have had to hold for quite some time before the main force would arrive. Not to mention the fact that keeping Stalin Line operational means there is at lest some serious planning in case of German invasion.
