Stalin Dies Before Lenin

What if Stalin had died before Lenin did? It dosen't matter how it happened, what matters is what would have come after. Who would have taken over supream power after Lenins' Death? Trotsky Perhaps? How would the Soviet Union have faired in war with Germany with out Stalin? And after the war...what next? Would the Cold War be a little less chilley?

Depends on the time I suppose. IIRC Lenin died quite young so a long lived Lenin is quite different then a Stalin dead during the revolution.

Kamenev-Zinoviev dual rule against Trotsky on the left and Bukharin-Rykov on the right?

I think just like Stalin did. Both the left and the Right would come together to destroy Trotsky because he was the number one threat. Then the battle would really start.

I would like to see a TL on how would Kamenev-Zinoviev run the Soviet Union same with Bukharin-Rykov. Bukharin means at least economic reform more NEP.
