In the early years of Stalin's years as a revolutionary he led a number of bandits which served him near fanatically. The Caucasus region is highly diverse and one of Stalin's early companions was a Muslim Turkmen. Stalin did have supporters among the Muslim community who saw fighting Moscow's rule as a duty. It is likely that Stalin and his gang even crossed into Persia on occasion. What if say Lenin is dead and Russian Bolshevism is defeated, could Stalin seek to create his own Revolution in Persia? Perhaps he could become a new Nadir Shah
